The company was founded by Pat Walters following her departure from a large Fortune 500 engineering firm where she specialized in air pollution compliance for twenty-seven (27) years. PMW Environmental LLC was created out of Pat’s desire to provide industry with the knowledge and dedicated support they deserve in addressing a complex and ever-changing regulatory environment.

She has over thirty years (30) of environmental consulting experience and specializes in the field of air pollution compliance, permitting, emission inventories and regulatory analysis.
Pat is well versed in the interpretation of federal, state and local regulations and has also worked with complex European Union regulations for a U.S. based client with overseas facilities.
Pat has served as project manager and project engineer for numerous air compliance projects for hospitals, universities, petroleum, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, steel industry, cogeneration plants, airlines, airports, quarries, and numerous manufacturing facilities, etc. For a large university in St. Louis, Missouri, Pat developed a detailed greenhouse gas emission (GHG) inventory spanning twenty (20) years in support of the university’s goal to set a path to carbon neutrality.
In her many years serving industry, Pat has developed long-term relationships with her clients as well as regulatory agencies and has trained both client and consultant employees on air pollution compliance practices.
